Within the framework of the celebrations of the 2704th anniversary of Ejmiatsin, today Mayor Diana Gasparyan had a meeting at the Municipality with the members of the delegations from the cities of Petrozavodsk and Daugavpils.
During the official meeting the parties discussed issues concerning the further development of relations between the cities within the scope of the sister cities agreement and exchanged with souvenirs.
During the meeting Andrey Bekelev, the member of the delegation from Petrozavodsk, congratulated the citizens of Ejmiatsin on the occasion of the City Day and handed over to Mayor Diana Gasparyan the Certificate signed by Mayor of Petrozavodsk Irina Miroshnik on naming a street in Petrozavodsk in honor of Ejmiatsin.
Diana Gasparyan underlined the importance of the role of sister and partner cities in the process of development of Ejmiatsin and expressed her gratitude to the members of the delegations for arriving to Ejmiatsin for the City Day cerebrations and for the willingness to share the happy and pleasant moments of the cerebrations with our citizens.
The guests also visited Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Ejmiatsin, “Cross of Armenian Unity” NGO and the temple of Zvartnots.
