Today, regular and extraordinary sessions of the Vagharshapat community council were held, chaired by Argishti Mehakyan, Acting Head of the Vagharshapat Community.
During the session, a decision was adopted to establish benefits regarding the 2025 local fees for childcare services in kindergartens under the jurisdiction of the Vagharshapat Municipality.
Specifically:
• For children from large families with four or more children — a 50% discount was established,
• For the third child from the same family attending kindergarten — a 50% discount,
• For the fifth and each subsequent child from the same family — a 100% exemption from payment.
In addition, benefits will also apply to families of servicemen:
• Children of servicemen who died, went missing, or were officially recognized as deceased during military service are fully exempted from payment,
• Children of servicemen who became disabled during service are granted a 50% discount.
Furthermore, the deadline for submitting bids for the open tender concerning the construction of a sewage system on R. Patkanyan, Sos Manukyan, M. Baghramyan, and H. Tumanyan streets in Vagharshapat (Ejmiatsin), as well as for the replacement of the 300 mm diameter drinking water pipeline on R. Patkanyan Street, has been shortened. Instead of the previously established 30 days, applications will now be accepted within 10 calendar days.
