The delegation of sister city of Ejmiatsin Petrozavodsk was in Armenia within the scope of the project ''The Great Victory. Memory Paths''. The program of the visit of the delegation was devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War. The visit to Ejmiatsin started with a commemoration ceremony at the "Eternal Fire" memorial.
The program continued in the House-Museum of Hovhannes Hovhannisyan. Jointly with the pupils of Ejmiatsin №5 High School after Maxim Gorky the delegation had a talk-discussion and a small matinee about the Great Patriotic War.
Within the scope of the visit, the guests from the sister city had a meeting with Mayor Diana Gasparyan in the Municipality. During the meeting, the guests presented the aim of the visit, talked about the implemented cultural programs and the mutual visits within the scope of the cooperation between sister cities Ejmiatsin and Petrozavodsk, exchanged impressions received. And at the end of the meeting, the talented musicians of the delegation also had a performance for the Mayor.
The project ''The Great Victory. Memory Paths'' is interregional. The delegation will also have meetings in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karelia.
