Today, the first military gather of the year was officially launched at the Sardarapat
Memorial Complex. The event was attended by the Governor of Armavir Region,
Argishti Mekhakyan, The First Deputy Mayor of Vagharshapat, Arsen Petrosyan, and
community leaders.
The ceremony started with a prayer and the laying of flowers at the memorial site. The
blessing was given by the Diocesan leader, Sacred Sion, who prayed for peace in our
country and safe service for all soldiers.
The First Deputy Mayor of Vagharshapat Community, Arsen Petrosyan, wished the
new recruits a successful service, noted that the defense of the homeland is a sacred
and brotherly mission, to which our sons are devote today.
The new recruits left for the central military assembly point in high spirits, with a noble
sense of duty to defend the borders of their homeland.
