The boys leaving for compulsory military service were called into the Army from Vagharshapat Division of Conscription and Mobilization Service of RA MD.
The solemn ceremony was attended by Head of Armavir Region Eduard Hovhannisyan, Mayor of Vagharshapat Diana Gasparyan, representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the parents and relatives of the recruits.
The Head of the Region thanked the parents of the recruits for educating their sons in the spirit of patriotism and wished the boys, who are leaving to defend the borders of the homeland, success in the new phase of their life, emphasizing that today our country needs strong, brave and devoted soldiers.
Mayor Diana Gasparyan continued the speech of the Head of Armavir Region wishing the recruits peaceful service. Addressing to the mothers sending their sons to the army, the Mayor wished the motherly spirit to give strength to their sons during these two years.
Father Gyut Priest Galstyan held a blessing ceremony, wishing in his prayer peace for Armenia and Artsakh and safe service to all soldiers.
The recruits left for the central military base in good mood and with a high readiness of defending and keeping the borders of the homeland safe.
