The old building of №13 Kindergarten will be renovated soon due to a grant project from the Embassy of Japan.
Pursuing an active and flexible foreign policy, aiming to improve the public buildings and particularly the kindergartens under the subordination of the Municipality, the Municipality of Ejmiatsin tries to create ways of cooperation, including as well foreign resources.
For this purpose, in June, 2021 the Municipality of Ejmiatsin has applied for a grant assistance for Grassroots Human Security Project. As a result, a contract of grant assistance of more than USD 90,000 was signed at the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
With the provided funds it is planned to renovate the classrooms, the sports hall, the event hall, the kitchen, the balconies and the toilets of the two buildings of the kindergarten. As a result of the project, more than 300 children and the staff will benefit from the improved conditions of the kindergarten, as well as an additional group for 30 children will be opened, which will reduce the queue of children waiting for the admission to the kindergarten. In its turn the opening of the new classroom will create two new job positions.
It should be reminded that the other building of the kindergarten was completely renovated in 2019 with the financing of Aramayis Mirzoyan and Karen and Arman Mkrtchyans. The hall of the kindergarten was renovated in October-November of this year with the means of Gevorg Ghazaryan.
After the implementation of this project, we will have a completely renovated kindergarten.
Creating favorable environment for the healthy upbringing of the future generations is a priority in our work. Continuing the chain of the cooperation, we will direct our steps to the improvement of the institutions under the subordination of the Municipality.
