Mayor of Ejmiatsin Diana Gasparyan hosted the French delegation who was accompanying the aircraft carrying the humanitarian aid for the people from Artsakh. The delegation was led by Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France.
The Mayor represented the members of the delegation the activities carried out by the Municipality during the war and in post-war period, the projects of the Municipality aimed at supporting the people from Artsakh who had found shelters in Ejmiatsin. During the meeting, Mayor Diana Gasparyan expressed her gratitude to France for their humanitarian assistance and highly appreciated the efforts of France to assist Armenia and Artsakh on the international platforms.
Minister Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne reaffirmed the commitment of France to provide constant humanitarian assistance to the Armenians from Artsakh and thanked Mayor Diana Gasparyan for hosting the delegation.
The Minister, Ambassador of France to the RA Jonathan Lacôte, Ambassador of Goodwill from France Youri Djorkaeff highly appreciated the activities carried out by the Municipality of Ejmiatsin in supporting the people from Artsakh.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed mutual readiness to further expand and strengthen the scope of the further cooperation.
It should be noted that in order to provide humanitarian assistance to the Armenians from Artsakh, the delegation gave the Municipality of Ejmiatsin about 1000 packages of hygiene items, which soon will be distributed to the people of Artsakh who have found shelters in Ejmatsin.
