157TH ANNIVERSARY OF HOVHANNES HOVHANNISYAN, THE PROMINENT WRITER FROM EJMIATSIN

Early in the morning of April 26, the schoolchildren of Yerevan №52 School after Hovhannes Hovhannisyan visited the writer's house-museum, recited excerpts from the writer's works, walked around the house-museum and laid flowers at his bust placed in the yard of the house-museum.
In the afternoon, the employees of Hovhannes Hovhannisyan House-Museum and the Department of Education and Culture of the Municipality, together with the schoolchildren of Ejmiatsin Basic School № 3, visited Komitas Pantheon, laid flowers at Hovhannisyan's grave, recited from his works.
A memorial service was also held by Father Stepanos Priest Melikyan.
