ALMOST ALL DANCE GROUPS OF THE CITY ON THE SAME STAGE
CultureAlmost all dance groups of Ejmiatsin had a joint performance to congratulate on women’s day.
On the initiative of ‘’Ordakyan’’ dance school and ‘’Armfighting Ejmiatsin” sports club and with the support of the Municipality of Ejmiatsin, the pupils of the dance schools of the city congratulated women and girls in the language of art and emotions from the stage of Culture House after Komitas.
Petros Ordakyan, the co-author of the idea, mentions: "This isn’t only an ordinary concert that we dedicate to the day of mothers and women, but it’s also a unique process of cooperation that can bring to life new ideas."
One of the most touching moments of the concert was the first performance of "Zangak" song studio. This was the first time after the death of Tsovinar Harutyunyan, the group founder-director.
Mayor Diana Gasparyan, thanking the authors of the program, the dancing-masters and the pupils, noted that art is the force that helps us to live. We should change our attitude through art and culture so as to be able to move forward.
This concert was the first one of its kind, but the organizers are hopeful that such cooperation will be constant and the performances will become regular.
