Mayor of Ejmiatsin Diana Gasparyan welcomed Jun Yamada, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Armenia.
During the mutual visit the parties reaffirmed their readiness to raise the bilateral partnership to a new level and to cooperate in new fields.
Continuing the years-old cooperation of Ejmiatsin Municipality and the Embassy of Japan, in the near future – during the Japanese culture days in Armenia film screenings and other cultural events will be held in Ejmiatsin.
During the meeting the parties exchanged symbolic souvenirs. At the end of the meeting, accompanied by Mayor Diana Gasparyan the parties visited the Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Ejmiatsin and got acquainted with the displayed exhibits.
