Diana Gasparyan, the newly elected Mayor of Ejmiatsin, officially assumed the duties. In the conference hall, in front of the guests and the citizens of Ejmiatsin Diana Gasparyan took an oath to perform the duties of the Mayor of Ejmiatsin honestly and conscientiously, to serve for the prosperity of Ejmiatsin, to work for the welfare of its residents. The Mayor confirmed her oath by signature, after which the symbolic collar of the Mayor of Ejmiatsin was handed over to her. During the inauguration ceremony of the Mayor of the spiritual capital of Armenia Bishop Sion Adamyan, the Primate of the Diocese of Armavir, blessed the newly elected Mayor and conveyed the wishes and blessings of the Patriarch.
Thanking for the vote of confidence, the Mayor noted that she will work with each resident openly and transparently.
