A meeting with Edvard Militonyan, the chairman of the Writers՛ Union, poet, and prose writer, took place in the literary hall adjacent to Hovhannes Hovhannisyan house-museum. Special guests of the event, poets Shant Mkrtchyan, Edvard Hakhverdyan, literary scholar Armen Avanesyan talked about the literary activity of Edvard Militonyan and the way he made. They also read some of the poems of the writer. During the meeting Edvard Militonyan answered the questions of those present, welcomed and emphasized the importance of the organization of literary meetings and the contribution to relations between writer and reader.
Lilit Hakobyan, head of the department of Education and Culture of Ejmiatsin Municiplaity, emphasized that during the years of her work with pupils she made sure that the easily recited poems of Edvard Militonyan filled with humor attract children and they read his works for children with pleasure.
The evening was completed with musical performances.
