From March 1-7 the 13th festival of Japanese films is being held in Armenia. Love and youth are the subjects of the festival. The best contemporary feature films of Japanese directors are screened within the scope of the festival. With the support of Ejmiatsin Municipality the festival was hosted also in Ejmiatsin. Jun Yamada, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to the RA, was also present at the screening. Greeting those present the Ambassador emphasized the importance of the collaboration with the Municipality, noting that such cultural events will further contribute to the expansion and deepening of Armenian-Japanese relations in all spheres.
Within the scope of the festival the film “The 100th Love with You” was screened in Ejmiatsin. The film about the beautiful and selfless love of a young couple stands out not only for its content and depth, but also for its unique aesthetic handwriting. The film touched the audience and was highly appreciated.
