Towards the 150th anniversary of Komitas, a beautiful Komitas event was held at "Mer Doon" non-governmental organization of Ejmiatsin, during which performed both the girls living under the organization roof and the pupils of Music School № 1 after M. Yekmalyan of Ejmiatsin Municipality. Interesting episodes from Vardapet's biography were presented, Komitas music was played.
Mayor of Ejmiatsin Diana Gasparyan also paid a surprise visit at the event and listened to the beautiful performances. At the end of the event, Diana Gasparyan congratulated the girls on the spring holidays, accompanied by Tigranuhi Karapetyan, the Executive Director of the non-governmental organization and the girls, walked around and got acquainted with the conditions, talked to the girls.
