A programming laboratory was opened in ''The Innovation Ethnic Regional Centre'' of ''Cross of Armenian Unity'' CCNGO in Ejmiatsin.
The laboratory was founded within the scope of the "Far from Yerevan, Close to the World" program, which is funded by the "UMCOR Armenia" Charitable Foundation. The aim of the program is to contribute to the professional development of 60 young people aged 15 and over from Armavir region. According to those in charge of the program, it will also help raise awareness in the field of information and communication technologies among about 600 people.
Starting from 2016 up to now, 210 children aged 10-13 have received free education in the engineering laboratory of the Innovative Ethnic Regional Centre, and 60 people aged 15-35 in the field of programming and graphic programs. And the new lab will allow the future programmers to learn Python programming language, HTML5 web design language, they will acquire skills to be used in working with the MySQL database management system and a number of other skills.
