THE VISIT OF THE AMBASSADOR EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY OF FRANCE IN RA TO EJMIATSIN
Foreign RelationsJonathan Lacôte, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France in Armenia, had an informative visit to Ejmiatsin.
During the official part of the visit, Ambassador Jonathan Lacôte and Mayor of Ejmiatsin Diana Gasparyan discussed the Armenian-French cooperation, the strengthening and developing of the years-old effective cooperation between Ejmiatsin and Issy-les-Moulineaux, teaching the French language in Ejmiatsin, tourism development and a number of other issues.
The Ambassador highly appreciated the cooperation of Ejmiatsin with the French sister cities and expressed his willingness to support the new cooperation programs.
The parties also discussed the upcoming visit of the official delegation of Ejmiatsin Municipality to French Issy-les-Moulineaux.
During the visit to Ejmiatsin, the parties visited the SPFA French-speaking club in Ejmiatsin, got acquainted with the activities carried out by the club and communicated with the club members.
They also participated in the training about the rules of proper hygiene of the mouth cavity and its cleaning in the Kindergarten №11 conducted on the initiative of "Altitude 5165" French-Armenian charity NGO.
Within the scope of the visit, the parties also attended a French language open class at №5 High School after Maxim Gorky.
