In response to the large-scale Azerbaijani aggression in April 2016, the Armenian fighters, showing their unwavering devotion to the homeland, resisted the enemy's actions, once again demonstrating the unbreakable will of the Armenian people.
Unfortunately, we also had victims. The April four-day war took the lives of more than 100 soldiers. Nikolay Osepyan from Ejmiatsin was one of the volunteer-heroes who died for the defense of the motherland. On April 6, the day of Nikolay Osepyan's death, a requiem service was held in the fraternal pantheon of Zvartnots district by Father Yeghishe Priest Karsyan, after which, with the support of the Municipality a remembrance board was unveiled in the house where the hero lived. The honor of unveiling the monument was given to Head of Armavir Region Hambardzum Matevosyan and Mayor of Ejmiatsin Diana Gasparyan.
It is thanks to N. Osepyan and brave people like him that we live in peace with stable and unwavering state borders.
