Such events are one more stimulus to a healthy lifestyle and they are aimed at instilling in children a love and interest towards the sports from an early age. This was the first big sports tournament for the children, but according to Lilit Hakobyan, the Head of the Department of Education and Culture of Ejmiatsin Municipality, children often take part in such events in kindergartens.
The children participated in the tournament with great enthusiasm. There was no lack of preparedness and fighting spirit. There was also no lack of guests and people encouraging the little athletes: the kindergarten staffs, the parents of the participants, the organizers were encouraging the children. Despite the competition, there was a warm and friendly atmosphere in the Sports School.
The jury was following the results and successful performances of the children. The team of Ejmiatsin №6 "Arevik" kindergarten scored maximum points in the tournament. The teams that scored the first three maximum points were awarded certificates as well as sports equipment by RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs.
