The children of the out-of-school institutions under the subordination of the Municipality of Ejmiatsin summed up the 2018-2019 academic year with summing concerts and an exhibition. The end of the year summing events are unique demonstration of the progress, knowledge and skills gained over the past year.
The pupils of Fine-Arts School after Yeghishe Tadevosyan presented an exhibition of numerous and multi-genre works from all departments done during the year. Works of painting, drawing, composition, sculpture, tapestry, macramé, carpet weaving and batik were presented at the exhibition. The summing exhibition was a symbolic one especially for the graduates.
Mayor Diana Gasparyan congratulated the pupils on the successful completion of the academic year and awarded certificates to the graduates.
After the official part of the event, the art-loving visitors walked around and got acquainted with the works of the schoolchildren.
The music schools of Ejmiatsin prepared a beautiful summing concert program. The pupils of different grades performed various piano, string, percussion and wind instruments, as well as presented vocal performances to the audience. The pupils attending the out-of-school institutions completed the academic year with additional knowledge, skills and achievements. Throughout the year, the pupils of cultural centres of Ejmiatsin participated in various festivals, competitions, and were awarded honorary prizes.
