An in-school quiz was held in the concert hall of Music School №1 after Makar Yekmalyan. The quiz completely included all the well-known and unknown episodes of Komitas' personal and creative life. Four teams - "Soghsoghik", "Hazar u Mi Khagh", "Sona Yar" and "Kakavik" were participating in the quiz. The choices of the names of the teams were not accidental. All of them were related to Vardapet.
The play-competition was held with 5 phases. At each phase, the participants were assigned different tasks: to answer the questions about the personal and creative life, to guess the author of the painting, to guess the songs, to perform the song pre-selected from Komitas' playlist.
Among the members of the jury were teachers both from the teaching staff of Music School after Makar Yekmalyan and Music School after Spiridon Melikyan.
The team "Sona Yar" won with the advantage of points. The children were also awarded in three incentive categories: "Best Performance", "Character and Unique Team", "The most active team".
