Realizing the importance of both the technical reequipment and the improvement of the building conditions of the Territorial Rescue Department of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations and following the responsibility towards Ejmiatsin and the citizens of Ejmiatsin, the Municipality of Ejmiatsin also provided support to the renovation of the building of the Ejmiatsin Rescue Subdivision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia. With the support of the Municipality, the front windows and doors of the administrative building of Ejmiatsin Fire and Rescue Team have been replaced.
Ejmiatsin Fire and Rescue Team serves 42 communities with 24-hour service. The building of the team was built in 1954 and has not been renovated so far. These days, with the support of the communities who the team serves for, property and building conditions are being improved here.
Lieutenant Colonel of the Rescue Service Vahan Mkrtchyan, the Commander of the Team, is sure that the improvement of the building conditions will contribute to the increase of the work efficiency of the staff even more.
